I enjoy understanding how things work from the ground up. I like simple systems and prefer to only introduce complexity when there's a good reason.

This mindset follows me in how I work and influences what I most enjoy doing/interacting with. I'm usually the most at home with:

  • building stuff from scratch
  • hacking
  • reverse engineering
  • root cause analysis
  • anything linux
  • self hosting
  • automations

If you'd like to read more about my hacking escapades, consider checking out my blog. I enjoy tinkering around on all layers of the stack - so there's a bit of a mix of everything from hardware to application.

Be sure to let me know if you spot a typo or misinformation.

When I'm not trying to mess around with other people's code, I also enjoy making my own. My first intro to the world of code was drag-and-drop programming on Scratch, and I've held on to that satisfation of Making A Thing since then.

If you'd like to check out the projects I've made, take a gander.
